Privacy policy
At IProgrammer Web Solutions we respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we receive through https://www.iprogrammer.com.co, what we use it for and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1074 of 2015 and other Colombian personal data protection regulations.
Effective as of October 10, 2026. This is an English translation provided for convenience; in case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is IProgrammer Web Solutions (hereinafter, “IProgrammer”), domiciled in Colombia.
- Website: https://www.iprogrammer.com.co
- Email for personal data matters: comercial@iprogrammer.com.co
2. Data we collect
We only receive the data you choose to give us:
- Contact form: name and email address (required) and, if you provide them, company, phone or WhatsApp, city, country, the description of your problem, the tools or systems you use, the urgency, and the channel and time you prefer to be contacted.
- Subscription: your email address.
- Site assistant (the robot): if you leave your details, your name and a WhatsApp number or email, together with what you chose in the conversation (topic, detail and urgency), the page you were on and, if you arrived through a campaign, its source data. Before sending them it asks for your authorization with a checkbox; we keep the text you accepted and the date.
- Email or WhatsApp: the data you include when you write to us directly.
We do not request sensitive data (health, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, biometric data, among others). Please do not include it in your messages.
Like any website, our server automatically logs technical data from each visit, such as the IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type. This data is used for the operation and security of the site.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your request and contact you through the channel and at the time you chose.
- To understand your needs and prepare a proposal or quote.
- To manage the commercial and contractual relationship if you decide to work with us.
- To send you information about our services and content when you subscribe or authorize it. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to requests from competent authorities.
- To keep the site secure and prevent misuse.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.
4. Consent
By submitting the contact form or subscribing, and checking the acceptance box when presented, you give us prior, express and informed authorization to process your data for the purposes described in this policy. We keep a record of that authorization.
Providing your data is voluntary. If you do not provide the data marked as required, we will not be able to respond to your request.
5. Who we share it with
We only share data with providers that deliver services we need to operate, who act as data processors and follow our instructions:
- The hosting provider for the website and email.
- Google, which serves the site's fonts (Google Fonts) and provides the Google Analytics service; in both cases your browser transmits technical data such as your IP address.
- WhatsApp, only if you choose that channel to communicate with us.
Some of these providers may have servers outside Colombia, so your data may be transmitted or transferred to other countries. In those cases we seek to ensure adequate levels of protection.
We may also provide information to judicial or administrative authorities when required by law.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which we received it and for the period required by applicable legal or contractual obligations. When it is no longer needed, or when you request its deletion and there is no legal or contractual duty to keep it, we will delete it.
7. How we protect it
We apply reasonable technical, human and administrative measures to prevent the alteration, loss, consultation, use or unauthorized access to your data: the site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to information is limited to the staff who need it, and the forms include controls against automated submissions.
No system is completely infallible. If a security incident compromises your data, we will manage it and report it as required by law.
8. Your rights
As the data subject, you have the right to:
- Know, update and correct your personal data.
- Request proof of the authorization you gave us.
- Be informed, upon request, of how your data has been used.
- Revoke your authorization or request the deletion of your data, when there is no legal or contractual duty to keep it.
- Access the data we have processed free of charge.
- File complaints with the Colombian Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) for violations of the law, once the inquiry or claim process with us has been completed.
9. How to exercise them
Write to comercial@iprogrammer.com.co with the subject “Personal data”, stating your full name, your specific request and a way to reply to you. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity.
- Inquiries: we answer within a maximum of ten (10) business days from receipt. If that is not possible, we will tell you why and give you a new date, which will not exceed five (5) business days after the first deadline.
- Claims (correction, update, deletion or revocation): we resolve them within a maximum of fifteen (15) business days from receipt. If the claim is incomplete, we will ask you to complete it within the following five (5) days. If we cannot resolve it within that period, we will tell you why and give you a new date, which will not exceed eight (8) business days after the first deadline.
10. Minors
Our services are aimed at companies and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children or adolescents. If you believe a minor has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.
11. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC, to understand how the site is used: how many people visit it, from which country and type of device, which pages they view and how long they stay. To do this, Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and receives technical data about your visit, such as your IP address, which Google processes in aggregate. We do not use this information to identify you personally, nor do we combine it with the data you send us through the form.
The site assistant (the robot) does not use cookies. If you accept measurement in the cookie notice, we record on our own servers how it is used (for example, whether it was opened or which option was chosen) with a random identifier that lasts only for your visit and an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address, which does not allow it to be recovered. If you reject measurement, those records are not stored. We keep these records for a maximum of thirteen (13) months.
We do not use advertising cookies. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a connection between your browser and Google's servers.
Google Analytics is only activated if you accept it in the cookie notice shown when you enter the site. If you reject it, its cookies are not set. You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page.
You can reject or delete cookies from your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site will continue to work normally. More information in Google's privacy policy.
12. Changes and effective date
This policy is effective as of October 10, 2026. We may modify it to reflect changes in our services or in the law; the current version will always be published on this page, with its date. If a change substantially affects the purposes of processing, we will inform you through the contact details we have.
The databases will remain in effect for as long as the purposes for which the data was collected remain.
